Is SendGrid down?

The status at the top of this page comes from Hyperping checks of SendGrid, run every minute and refreshed on the page every 60 seconds. Green means the latest checks succeeded; red means they are failing, confirmed from several regions.

We send an HTTP request to api.sendgrid.com every minute, in turn from Virginia, Frankfurt and Singapore, and count a 401 response as up. When a check fails, other regions check again before SendGrid counts as down. We check SendGrid's v3 API, where a 401 without a key means it is answering. Mail can be queued and delivered late while the API answers.
