Hyperping is a French company. Your contract, your data, and your status pages live under EU law — with primary storage in Frankfurt, a DPA on every plan, and invoicing your finance team won't fight with.
Hyperping SAS, headquartered in Paris. Your contract is with an EU entity, under French law — not a US parent with EU sales offices.
Customer data stored in the EU
Databases, application servers, and backups live in Frankfurt, Germany, in DIN ISO/IEC 27001-certified data centers.
DPA on every plan
A Data Processing Agreement is available to all customers, with a public, versioned list of sub-processors.
Data minimization by design
We store only what the service needs. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed, payment details live exclusively at Stripe, and monitoring probes keep no account data.
Rights & breach handling
Full support for data subject rights, self-serve subscriber deletion, and 72-hour breach notification.
Public-sector ready
EUR invoicing, purchase orders and SEPA bank transfer, French/EU contracting entity — already trusted by public sector organizations.
The honest fine print: to check your services from where your users actually are, monitoring probes run in 18+ regions worldwide, on EU and US cloud providers. Probes process transient check results only and store no customer account data; international transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. If your compliance requirements go further — EU-only probes and infrastructure — talk to us: we've delivered EU-only setups for customers who need them.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hyperping GDPR compliant?
Yes. Hyperping is operated by Hyperping SAS, a French company headquartered in Paris, and is directly subject to GDPR. Primary customer data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany) in ISO 27001-certified data centers, and we offer a DPA to all customers.
Where is my data stored?
All primary customer data — databases, application servers, and backups — is stored in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany. Globally distributed probe servers only process transient check results and store no customer account data.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
Yes, a DPA is available to all customers, on all plans. We also maintain a public list of sub-processors and notify customers of changes.
Is Hyperping a European alternative to US monitoring tools?
Yes. Hyperping is a French company under French and EU law, with EU-first data storage. For teams replacing Atlassian Statuspage, Pingdom (SolarWinds), or other US-operated tools for sovereignty reasons, Hyperping keeps the contracting entity and the primary data in the EU.
Can we pay by purchase order or bank transfer?
Yes. Public sector organizations and enterprises can purchase via PO and SEPA bank transfer with EUR invoicing — contact sales. Self-serve plans support EUR card payment.
How do you handle data subject requests and breaches?
We support access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection rights. Subscriber data can be deleted directly from your dashboard. Personal data breaches are notified within 72 hours as required by GDPR.
