Receive up and down alerts via a Google Chat space.
Hyperping posts a message in your Chat space when a monitor goes down, and another one when it recovers. Alerts include the monitor's name so your team knows at a glance what is affected.
To add a webhook to a Google Chat space, follow these steps:
Open the Chat space where you want to add the webhook.
Click the space name at the top and select Manage webhooks.
Click Add webhook.
Enter a name for your webhook (e.g., "Hyperping Alerts"). Optionally, add an avatar image for your webhook. Click Save.
Copy the webhook URL that appears. This URL will be used to send messages to your Chat space.
Head to your Integrations page, then click on Configure on the Google Chat card.
Enter the webhook URL you just copied, then hit save.

We recommend testing your webhooks to make sure they are working. To do so, create a monitor that returns an error, such as a 404 page, which will trigger the alerts. A message should appear in your Chat space within a few moments of the outage being confirmed.
Verify the webhook URL was copied in full, and that the webhook still exists in the space's Manage webhooks panel.
Google Chat webhook URLs are unique. If the webhook was removed or recreated, update the URL in Hyperping's Integrations page.
Each webhook belongs to a single Chat space. To alert several spaces, create a webhook in each one.
