September brings powerful new capabilities that give you more control over your status pages and make migrations smoother than ever. From fully custom domain support to streamlined Teams integration, here's what's new.
Fully Custom Domain Support for Status Pages
Your status page can now be hosted on any domain—whether it's your apex domain or any subdomain configuration you need.
We've expanded beyond basic subdomain support to give you complete flexibility:
- Apex domain hosting: Host directly on your main domain (acme.com)
- Any subdomain structure: From simple (status.acme.com) to complex multi-level subdomains (internal.status.prod.acme.com)
- Automatic SSL certificates: HTTPS is handled automatically with auto-renewal 30 days before expiry
- Instant Hyperping-hosted alternatives: Test with yourcompany.hyperping.app while setting up custom domains
The setup process is straightforward:
- Enter your custom domain in the status page settings
- Configure DNS records (A record for apex domains, CNAME for subdomains)
- Publish and your status page is live on your custom domain

Enhanced Teams Integration with Power Automate
Microsoft Teams integration now uses Power Automate workflows for more reliable and flexible alert delivery.
Due to recent changes in Microsoft's integration policies, we've updated our Teams integration to use Power Automate:
- Reliable webhook delivery: Power Automate ensures consistent message delivery to your Teams channels
- Flexible channel routing: Configure alerts to go to specific teams and channels
- Easy setup process: Create a flow, select your channel, copy the webhook URL, and add it to Hyperping
- Rich formatting: Alerts maintain consistent formatting and include all relevant incident details
The new setup takes just a few minutes and provides a more robust connection to your Teams workspace. Our Teams integration guide walks you through the complete process.
