We're excited to share several improvements, enhancing visibility into your services and making it easier to manage your reliability data.
Coming Soon: On-Call Management
We're developing a robust on-call management system and are looking for beta testers!
Hyperping's On-call feature lets you coordinate incident response by creating and managing on-call schedules for your team. This ensures someone is always available to respond to incidents, and that critical issues are never missed.
The upcoming on-call feature will include:
- Customizable rotation schedules
- Seamless integration with existing notification channels
- Support for concurrent shifts to ensure redundancy for critical services
- Time restrictions to manage alerting during off-hours
- Easy rotation management as your team evolves
Best practices for setting up your on-call schedule:
- Use concurrent shifts for critical services to ensure redundancy
- Regularly review and update your rotation order as your team changes
- Use time restrictions to avoid alerting during off-hours if desired
Interested in participating in the beta? Let us know via the in-app chat or email us at hello@hyperping.io.
Beta testers can access the on-call feature at https://app.hyperping.io/oncall-schedules.
Enhanced SSL Certificate Monitoring
We've significantly improved SSL certificate monitoring with at-a-glance visibility of certificate issues:
The enhanced monitoring:
- Displays all SSL certificate errors and warnings directly in your monitor list
- Allows filtering monitors by specific SSL error types
- Provides a quick filter for showing all monitors with any SSL issues
SSL monitoring is enabled by default for all HTTPS monitors, so there's no additional setup required.
New Reporting API Endpoints
We've expanded our API with comprehensive reporting endpoints that provide access to SLA, MTTR, and outages data for your monitors.
The new endpoints allow you to:
- Retrieve reports for all monitors or specific ones
- Define custom date ranges for your reporting needs
- Access detailed SLA statistics and outage information
- Integrate monitoring metrics into your internal dashboards
Visit our API documentation to start using these powerful new endpoints.
Component Uptime Bars in Status Pages
Status pages now display uptime bars for components, not just for monitors with direct Hyperping monitoring. This enhancement:
- Shows historical data for all components
- Accurately reflects incidents and maintenance windows
- Provides complete visibility into your service reliability
