One command, then nothing to maintain

Installing the Hyperping agent is a single curl command on each host. It runs an embedded OpenTelemetry collector, ships gzipped OTLP over HTTP every 30 seconds, and keeps an on-disk queue at /var/lib/hyperping/queue so an ingest outage or a reboot doesn't leave a hole in your charts. It sits around 50 MB of RSS with no JVM. There are no parent nodes to size, no retention tiers to tune, and no dashboard server to keep alive. The install guide takes about two minutes.

Inside and outside on the same timeline

Netdata shows the load average climbing to 14 on one node. Whether customers noticed is a different question, and answering it needs a check from outside the host. Hyperping runs uptime checks from 18 regions right next to the host metrics, so a CPU spike and a slow checkout page sit in one view instead of two tools you correlate by timestamp.

The alert reaches an actual person

Server alerting is on every paid plan: thresholds on CPU, memory and filesystem usage, plus agent liveness. When metrics go stale and then offline, Hyperping opens an outage and runs your escalation policy through email, SMS, phone calls and Slack until someone acknowledges.
