Uptime monitoring, status pages and on-call. One product, built by a small team in Paris since 2017.

What Hyperping does
Seven jobs that usually take three or four tools, on one plan and one invoice.
Uptime monitoring
HTTP, keyword, ping, port, SSL, DNS and TCP checks every 30 seconds from 18 regions, re-checked from another region before an alert fires. You learn about an outage before your customers tweet about it, and you never get paged for one probe that blinked.
Learn moreStatus pages
Public and private branded pages on your own domain, with subscriber notifications, maintenance windows and uptime history. Customers check the page instead of opening a ticket, and the page updates from the same incident that alerted you.
Learn moreOn-call and escalation
Rotations, escalation policies and alerts by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, SMS, phone call and webhook. The right person is woken up, and only if the first one did not acknowledge.
Learn moreIncident management
Incidents are opened from an alert or by hand, tracked to resolution, published to the status page and closed with a post-mortem. One timeline serves the on-call engineer, the support team and the customer.
Learn moreServer monitoring
An installed agent reports CPU, memory, filesystem, disk I/O and network, with alerting on thresholds. A full disk or a leaking process shows up as a warning, not as the outage it would have caused.
Learn moreSynthetic monitoring
Browser checks written in Playwright that log in, add to cart or submit a form on a schedule. A broken checkout is caught even when every endpoint still answers 200.
Learn moreCron job monitoring
Heartbeat checks that expect a ping from every scheduled job and alert when one goes quiet. Backups, billing runs and nightly exports stop failing silently.

Flat plans with seats included, not a price per responder
Essentials includes 3 seats, Pro 10 and Business 20, with extra seats from $7 to $12 a month. PagerDuty and Opsgenie bill every person on the rotation, so a ten-person on-call team pays ten times. On Hyperping it pays for the plan, whether one or ten people get paged.
- 02
One product where most teams run three
The usual stack is Pingdom for checks, Atlassian Statuspage for the page and PagerDuty for on-call: three invoices and two integrations that can break at the worst moment. Hyperping does the three jobs on one plan, so the status page updates from the same incident that paged you.
- 03
30-second checks from 18 regions, confirmed before they alert
Free tiers elsewhere check every 5 minutes and many paid plans start at 1 minute. Hyperping checks every 30 seconds on every paid plan, 20 seconds on Business, and re-checks from a second region before alerting. An alert means something is down, not that one probe had a bad second.

European by design
Hyperping SAS is a French company. Customer data and backups live in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Frankfurt, invoices are issued in euros, and a data processing agreement comes with every plan, including the free one. Most alternatives are US companies processing data under US law.
- 05
Status pages without the page tax
Atlassian Statuspage and Instatus price page by page and charge more for private ones. Pro includes 3 status pages and Business 10, with password and email-protected pages, custom domains and multilingual pages in the plan rather than as add-ons.
- 06
Built to be automated, by scripts and by AI
A REST API, an open-source Terraform provider, Go and Python clients and a Prometheus exporter cover monitoring-as-code. A hosted MCP server lets Claude, Cursor or any agent read outages, create monitors, declare incidents and post status page updates directly, which almost no uptime tool offers yet.
Who uses Hyperping
- SaaS and product teams of 5 to 200 people that need checks, a public status page and an on-call rotation without buying three products.
- Platform and SRE teams at larger companies that want an independent safety net next to Datadog or Grafana, as Alma does.
- Agencies and hosting providers monitoring dozens of client sites and status pages from one account.
- European companies, public sector bodies and regulated teams with a requirement to keep customer data in the EU.
- Teams leaving Opsgenie, Pingdom, Statuspage or any per-responder tool because the bill outgrew the team.
The team behind Hyperping
Léo Baecker started Hyperping in 2017 as a side project: a monitor that would tell him when his own apps went down, with a status page he was not embarrassed to send to customers. It found paying users, and it has been the whole company since.
9 years later Hyperping is still bootstrapped: no venture capital, no outside funding, no board. Four people build it, run it and answer every support email. Decisions are made for the people who use the product, because there is nobody else to make them for.
Léo BaeckerFounder and CEOStarted Hyperping in 2017 and still writes most of the code, publishes the blog and answers support. Runs the company from Paris.
Manon PitteProduct designerDesigns the app, the status pages and this website. Every screen you see in Hyperping went through her Figma first.
Nicolas MérouzeContent strategyWrites the guides, the comparisons and the documentation: the pages that explain monitoring before they sell it.
Laurent WereySoftware engineerBuilds the monitoring engine, the integrations and the server agent. When a check runs from one of the 18 regions, it is his code running.

How Hyperping works
What to expect from the first sign-up to the invoice.
Getting started
Self-service. Sign up, add a monitor, invite the team: the first check runs within minutes and no sales call is needed. The Free plan has no time limit and every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial. Enterprise customers get help migrating monitors, status pages and schedules.
Support
Email hello@hyperping.io or use the chat in the app. Questions are read and answered by the four people who build the product, not by an outsourced desk or a bot. Bug reports go straight to the engineer who owns that part of the code.
Contracts and billing
Monthly or yearly, cancelled from the app at any time, with no minimum term and no setup fee. Prices are the same figure in US dollars and euros. A data processing agreement is included on every plan, and Enterprise adds invoicing and custom terms.
Transparency
Hyperping monitors itself and publishes the result at status.hyperping.io. Prices and plan limits are published as plain text at /pricing.md, and the product, its fit and its limits are described for AI assistants at /ai-info.

Frequently asked questions
Is Hyperping bootstrapped?
Yes. Hyperping was founded in 2017 and has taken no venture capital and no outside funding since. It is profitable and owned by the people who work on it, which is why there is no board to answer to and no pressure to raise prices to hit a growth target.
Where is Hyperping based and where is my data stored?
Hyperping SAS is a French company headquartered in Paris. Customer data and backups are stored in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Frankfurt, Germany, and a data processing agreement is available on every plan, including the free one.
Who is behind Hyperping?
A team of four: founder and CEO Léo Baecker, product designer Manon Pitte, content strategist Nicolas Mérouze and software engineer Laurent Werey. The same four people build the product and answer support.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 20 monitors, one status page, one server agent and 5-minute checks, with no credit card and no time limit. Paid plans start at $29 a month and include a 14-day trial.
How is Hyperping different from Better Stack or UptimeRobot?
UptimeRobot is a checker: status pages, on-call and incidents need other tools. Better Stack bundles logs and APM, and its price follows. Hyperping covers monitoring, status pages, on-call and incidents on one flat plan with seats included, and keeps data in the EU.
What does Hyperping not do?
It is not an observability suite: no log management, APM, distributed tracing or real user monitoring, and no self-hosted version. Teams that need those should look at Datadog, Better Stack or Uptime Kuma. The full list, with the tools that fit each case, is on the AI info page.
Can I talk to a human before signing up?
Yes. Write to hello@hyperping.io or book a call through the sales contact page and you will talk to someone on the team, usually Léo. There is no sales-qualification form and no minimum deal size.
